You best try compiling from the msys shell that is installed with
the GNUste-base-... installer.
If I remember correctly it the GNUstep installer will make a
menu item in "Start\Programs\GNUstep" or something similar
(I don't have a windows machine right now.)
The msys shell will have all the environments variables
set correctly, and makes sure you use the right compiler etc.
