Bingo! you got it. It is a "void slogan" in  my humble opinion.

it is equal to the marketing hype form microsoft.

I hope it is clesar we don't want our users to suffer! or our 
developers to cry!

when I think of gnustep compared to others, I like

- it doesn't come in my way (espeically thinking about it timeless 
look)
- it is just professional (again thinking about its particular GUI and 
applicaiton layout)
- it is highly productive (also referring to the ease of code)
- it (should at least) is consistent among the applications
- it is flexible and portable.

If we need to have a pay-off, which I think is not needed though, we 
should refer to that.

HP launched openviwe with "Works right now". This referred to the 
competitor stuff being a pain to set up or that everyone hoped for a 
newer release.
When Apple was really superior and really different (which made also 
suffer the users, but they loved that) they used "think different". 
Remember the clocks having hands rotating backwards? Great for 
bavarian users!!! (pfft, Nikolaus....) Now maybe something more like 
"appear different, but be the same" wouldn't be so catchy, so don't 
even tell it.
Most slogans grow old. Most are redundant.

I remmber that in the internal decision making of a comapny the 
followinig was proposed: "We know how". Isn't this a stubid, arrogant, 
bold statement?

Let's just drop it.
