I know this was asked on the forum in the past but that was about using 
a different backend. I am using Cairo. I think I have Helvetica font 
installed

I am using lenny with a pretty new xorg so freetype should be loaded by 
default. On this computer everything (gnustep, backend etc) are 
installed from Debian official repository. What do you suggest to do?
