I did that myself and I get a lot of valgind warnings that point into 
the direction of recent changes in GSIMap.h:

Could it be that there are cases (64-bit machine?) where node->key is 
not equal to GSI_MAP_READ_KEY(map, &node->key), that is (*(&node->key))?
