Declan,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, below is some info on Copyright
Colloquium to pass along to your readers. Thanks.... Dane
Copyright Colloquium is The Media Institute's online forum for discussing
and debating the many issues surrounding copyright and intellectual
property in the digital age. This page will feature thoughtful pieces by
persons of diverse and often antagonistic views - scholars, policy
analysts, current and former government officials, attorneys, copyright
holders, equipment makers, artists, consumer advocates - a veritable who's
who in a virtual exchange of opinion.
Readers have an opportunity to comment on all pieces, and selected comments
are posted. These can be short (i.e., "letters to the editor") or longer
responses.
Copyright Colloquium is not a real-time "chat room" -- it's a virtual haven
for informed opinion, new ideas, and provocative debate compiled by The
Media Institute's editorial staff.
A number of articles are already posted on this new page. We welcome
additional articles (750-2,000 words); responses to articles (200-500
words); and letters to the editor (up to 200 words).
Individuals who would like to write an article or response for Copyright
Colloquium should contact Rick Kaplar, editor, at
address@hidden Article guidelines can be found on the CC
page. Letters to the editor can be submitted directly through the CC
page. The address again: <www.mediainstitute.org/colloquium>.
