it's also better for business to have its own name in the header comments.

i think we should have more information in these comments, not only the name, but also a list of the updates each person have done; it would be better to know at first sight what the program do and how it have evolved. So we can also know who did what, when and why. It's the way we do in the software company i work for, and i find it good. it's also a help for debugging to know what happened recently to the program.

HI Régis,

One question, wouldn't that be a problem when Dolibarr wants to denounce a person for infringing Dolibarr's license? I mean, if a lot of people are the owners of the code, all of them should legally charge over the infringer.
Yes, but thats not a problem. The goal is having nobody infringing Dolibarr license, not having only one person that can denounce infringing.
I don't know much about french law but, wouldn't be better that the Dolibarr asociation own the copyright of the code?
This is not possible for old code. Could be for new code only.
A lot of code comes from other work licensed as GPL, so are owned by their author and are published with license GPL. A GPL licence does not allow to change the owner. But the GPL allows to reuse and redistribute all of this code under licence GPL.
So we can be full GPL, but no way to have only one owner (except if we decide to rewrite all code published under GPL). And this is a too important work.
