Hi I also think that announcing should be done in a more transparent way. Not a small link on the main web site.

Why not make an wrapper script which automatically annoiunces the release when uploaded or tagged in github.com

or uploaded to the main location ?

For this kind of users is more useful get information about dolibarr easily from twitter (for example) through his smartphone. 

The difference is that he don´t have to search his favorite information, the information comes alone like RSS.

I do most of Spanish support in dolibarr.es forum and I felt kinda stupid when I told an user to wait until 3.2.2 version was released for fixing a problem that he reported, after I saw his reply that he was going to update to 3.2.2 this week. Then I saw dolibarr.org's announcement and couldn't believe developers were not notified of the release.

If next releases will be notified to dolibarr-dev list then I think the communication problem will be solved.

Publishing on twiter and facebook should be automatically done when the post is sent onto dolibarr.org. But for unknown reason sometimes it fails (we used twiterfeed from rss for that)

Hi everyone, 

I think an easy alternative, is to publish it though social networks like twitter, and use a plugin to insert this publications like twitter into portal like it. It´s faster than create a post into dolibarr.org or dolibarr.fr. Also, it´s more easy write into social network with a mobile than into joomla (text + image).

We need to use more social networks to communicate with other users. 

lot of people use social networks (smartphone, tables) and most importantly the information is real time.

It´s only a suggestion.
