Hello Laurent,
First of all it is not clear to me how translation of table
llx_c_forme_juridique and others is done. Something like a language flag
seems to be missing:
CREATE TABLE `llx_c_forme_juridique` (
`rowid` int(11) NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT,
`code` int(11) NOT NULL,
`fk_pays` int(11) NOT NULL,
`libelle` varchar(255) DEFAULT NULL,
`isvatexempted` tinyint(4) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0',
`active` tinyint(4) NOT NULL DEFAULT '1',
`module` varchar(32) DEFAULT NULL,
PRIMARY KEY (`rowid`),
UNIQUE KEY `uk_c_forme_juridique` (`code`)
)
In Switzerland we have a least 3 - 4 different languages we should
support. Some companies have branches in ch_fr and ch_de. And I do not
see yet how this can be done...
So the hierarchy IMHO must be: country has <n> supported languages so I
would like to introduce fk_language or similar...
ALTER TABLE `llx_c_forme_juridique` ADD COLUMN fk_languages TINYINT
UNSIGNED NULL;
(we are not working with Foreign Keys?)
My hack was quick an dirty to get rid of the French translation but that
cannot be the solution...

Now to your question:
> Do you mean this list is wrong ? What difference with yours ?
Germany has different law than Switzerland and thus also different
juristic forms of companies:
Switzerland (I think we do not have more according to our official
government website).
INSERT INTO `llx_c_forme_juridique` VALUES
(124,600,6,'Einzelfirma',0,1,NULL);
INSERT INTO `llx_c_forme_juridique` VALUES (125,601,6,'Einfache
Gesellschaft',0,1,NULL);
INSERT INTO `llx_c_forme_juridique` VALUES
(126,602,6,'Kollektivgesellschaft',0,1,NULL);
INSERT INTO `llx_c_forme_juridique` VALUES
(127,603,6,'Kommanditgesellschaft',0,1,NULL);
INSERT INTO `llx_c_forme_juridique` VALUES
(128,604,6,'Aktiengesellschaft (AG)',0,1,NULL);
INSERT INTO `llx_c_forme_juridique` VALUES
(129,605,6,'Kommanditaktiengesellschaft',0,1,NULL);
INSERT INTO `llx_c_forme_juridique` VALUES (130,606,6,'Gesellschaft mit
beschränkter Haftung (GmbH)',0,1,NULL);
INSERT INTO `llx_c_forme_juridique` VALUES
(131,607,6,'Genossenschaft',0,1,NULL);
INSERT INTO `llx_c_forme_juridique` VALUES (132,608,6,'Verein',0,1,NULL);
INSERT INTO `llx_c_forme_juridique` VALUES (133,609,6,'Stiftung',0,1,NULL);
I just translated the french names of Swiss juristc forms to German.
Germany
INSERT INTO `llx_c_forme_juridique` VALUES (82,500,5,'GmbH -
Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung',0,1,NULL);
INSERT INTO `llx_c_forme_juridique` VALUES (83,501,5,'AG -
Aktiengesellschaft ',0,1,NULL);
INSERT INTO `llx_c_forme_juridique` VALUES (84,502,5,'GmbH&Co. KG -
Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung & Compagnie
Kommanditgesellschaft',0,1,NULL);
INSERT INTO `llx_c_forme_juridique` VALUES (85,503,5,'Gewerbe -
Personengesellschaft',0,1,NULL);
INSERT INTO `llx_c_forme_juridique` VALUES (86,504,5,'UG -
Unternehmergesellschaft -haftungsbeschränkt-',0,1,NULL);
INSERT INTO `llx_c_forme_juridique` VALUES (87,505,5,'GbR - Gesellschaft
des bürgerlichen Rechts',0,1,NULL);
INSERT INTO `llx_c_forme_juridique` VALUES (88,506,5,'KG -
Kommanditgesellschaft',0,1,NULL);
INSERT INTO `llx_c_forme_juridique` VALUES (89,507,5,'Ltd. - Limited
Company',0,1,NULL);
INSERT INTO `llx_c_forme_juridique` VALUES (90,508,5,'OHG - Offene
Handelsgesellschaft',0,1,NULL);
According to Wikipedia for Germany we have:
Einzelunternehmen
Stille Gesellschaft
Offene Handelsgesellschaft (OHG)
Kommanditgesellschaft (KG)
Gesellschaft bürgerlichen Rechts (GbR)
Aktiengesellschaft (AG)
Kommanditgesellschaft auf Aktien (KGaA)
Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung (GmbH)
Genossenschaft (eG)
Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung & Compagnie Kommanditgesellschaft
(GmbH & Co. KG)
and even some more (see at the bottom of the Wikipedia Article). But for
being absolutely sure one should ask a German Lawyer...
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liste_von_Rechtsformen_von_Unternehmen_in_Deutschland
So I would say the juristic forms for Germany are correct but not
complete. For the layout of the text I used French translation. I do not
know if should regulate if to use:
AG - Aktiengesellschaft
or
Aktiengesellschaft (AG)
----
PS: We are aware of language, and we are changing this to english step
by step, version after version...
OK. Good... So maybe I will send some patches over time...
Regards,
Oli
