DotGNU is better off with its own root DNS server with
security enabled. Yes, DNS root server is non-centralized For
public open services, it is fine to open to the public. But, for
DotGNU secured services, a dedicated delegation for all DotGNU
participants needs to be in place. DotGNU also need its own
version of DNS resolver for client, server, daemon, and gateway
pieces.

Even with new invention not to use DNS, URI will hit on someone's
DNS for resolution. Without DNS I am not sure the entire internet will.

Bye the way, anybody looking into Internet2 ?

Gary
