I was not aware of the "binfmt" interface in the kernel. After having read
about it from you and Gopal, I agree that writing a replacement for
mscoree.dll is not the right way. The right way would be to teach the kernel
how to differentiate between PE and IL-PE files and allow for wine / pnet /
mono to register themselves with the kernel. Thank you for pointing this out
to me.
