I really like this idea. I have not had the time to really read up on Dynamic DNS as much as I've wanted to, but I've seen the potential in it. I want to do the same for Jabber, to begin taking Jabber more P2P-ish soon. This would be a great way to put the new Jabber aspects of DotGNU to use as a test-case for DynaDNS on DotGNU. And a great way DotGNU could contribute back to Jabber.
