Hi folks,
at this weeks meeting (rescheduled to 17 UTC) the following came up:
* We suggest to create a rule saying that all essential architecture code should
be written in C. This has performance benefits and also simplifies porting to
other languages.
* The support code for the service level plan goes into the DGEE API. For those
who have not read the service level message, it's about implementing a session
mechanism and block encryption for webservices.
* To offer maximal flexibilty the users of the DGEE API shall be allowed to
override the service level mechanisms by hooking own code into the API (using
function pointers).
* DotGNU is downward compatible with Microsoft .NET . As far as possible .NET
webservices should be able to run on DotGNU, but the reverse need not to be
true.
* I managed to get myself the title Chairman of the DotGNU Working Group :-).
Greetings,
Peter
