[DotGNU]Any help for Mac OS X users?

I'm having a heck of a time trying to install this on my system, which 
is Mac OS X 10.2.6. I've followed what little instruction is available 
on the site for treecc, and everytime I try to ./configure pnet-0.5.10, 
it tells me I need treecc.

Has anyone on this list documented a process for installing the latest 
pnet on OS X, then?
