I suspect that the bug is generic in all X versions, and related to the
interaction between normal events and timers. And it will *not* be fixed in
pnet or pnetlib before 0.1. Those packages are frozen - redoing them at this
late stage will delay 0.1 by another week.
There are thousands of lines of code in pnet and pnetlib that are being held
up every day that DotGNU 0.1 is delayed - both Neil and I are sitting on
major development work, unable to commit until 0.1 is out of the way.
A bug in a sample, that can easily be worked around by a mouse movement, is
not sufficient justification to delay the release. It will never be perfect.
We have to strike at some point. And we've past that point already.
