I prefer the latter to clearly separate what is user data and what
the prompt provides.
I agree with Werner. The colon serves as a boundary marker, so no
investigation is needed. Even though such investigation and thinking
is easy, it takes a part of a second and still leaves me thinking
`why isn't this boundary marked?'
