Reading the ‘message’ documentation, I realized that the function
already has the ability to use a custom face by providing the ‘face’
text property.

With that in mind, could we simply use a text property alike for an l18n
registery (whatever we choose).

One of the clear benefit would be that we won’t have to add function
calls (or flow control) and could let ‘message’ manage that for us.

Maybe the registery could cooperate with gettext, maybe it could be a
special type like face is.

What do you think?
