CL packages - or similar, sure. If not, _some_
reasonable, Emacs-standard namespacing (beyond
obarrays).

And it's not just bikeshedding. This thread alone
should be a reminder that names (of everything in
Emacs) really do matter. There are different uses
that names can be put to, of course, which can
also mean conflicts and tradeoffs. But some kind
of namespace provision/control would be great.

(None of this speaks to whether Eglot should or
shouldn't be renamed, BTW.)

Names matter, yes. But pay attention to all that
you (or some behavior) might, in effect, expect
from a given name. Namespace control is important,
but no single such control solves everything to do
with names. Put differently, different uses of
names can call for different kinds of namespace
control. Let-binding, is one kind of flexible,
scoped, control.
