Also, we should eradicate the "i fetish".  The "i" in "isearch" stands
for "incremental", the "i" in "imenu" stands for "item", and the "i" in
"ispell" stands for "interactive", etc.  What does "ibuffer" do?  How
about "ielm"?  The same applies to "e" fetish.
