I imagine that it might be a large number of people, actually. Possibly 
larger than the number of active participants on this list, maybe even 
by an order or a magnitude (Emacs has more users).

Who would at least like to read-browse-follow some of our discussions 
without fully subscribing to the lists or interjecting into the threads.
