Ditto, inserts a q -- this is master, ./src/emacs -Q.

I am guessing someone might be using a X11 or other GUI Emacs...

    It quits the buffer here and with 'emacs -Q'.

   Also using Emacs -Q here. And using it as a text editor while I'm at it.
