Didn't know about that. Thanks for the tip.
The effect is day and night. It's really much, much quicker now.

IIUC, the cache is "in memory", not "in file" (like the clock history, or
Gnus' registry).

If this is the case (cache destroyed at every Emacs shutdown), I find this a
perfect solution already...
