as others in this thread, I'm skeptical about this approach, tracking
the various states from the subject line seems fragile.
That said, I encourage everyone on the list to freely use whatever
relevant label in the subject line: something like [HELP] clearly
states that someone is looking for help, and something like [BUG]
that this is a bug report.
