Setting process-connection-type to nil on Carbon Emacs is broken |

Symptoms:
When process-connection-type is set to nil, Tramp does not work with
the ssh connection method. Nor does ssh work in a *shell* buffer,
outputting a "Pseudo-terminal will not be allocated because stdin is
not a terminal." error message.
However, using "ssh -t -t" does work.
It seems that this is a bug in Emacs itself, rather than Tramp or ssh,
as ssh works correctly from the terminal and Tramp works with the
sshx connection method (which specifies the "-t -t" options).
In GNU Emacs 21.3.50.1 (powerpc-apple-darwin6.6)
of 2003-06-28 on naima.lensflare.org
configured using `configure '--without-x' '--enable-carbon-app''
