In the current Emacs Lisp Reference Manual the functions
`point-at-eol' and `point-at-bol' are not being mentioned explicitely.
Judging from the contents of `subr.el' they are aliases for
`line-end-position' and `line-beginning-position' introduced for
reasons of compatibility with XEmacs.
Are they being left out intentionally?
More or less. I don't see a need to document all the aliases that
we add for XEmacs compatibility.
