The KDE desktop and the Mozilla and Firefox browsers use it.
Does anyone know of other things that use the term "preferences"?
Preferences:
Windows XP tends to use "preferences", I believe. Adobe's Framemaker,
Acrobat Distiller, and Acrobat use "preferences". TextPad (another popular
text editor) uses "preferences". Dreamweaver uses "preferences".
Options:
Internet Explorer, Word, and Outlook (at least O. 2000) use "options".
Winzip uses "options". Firefox uses "options" (this contradicts what Kim
said, but it is what I see).
