They do for me. Are you using an old version of Emacs? This stuff
was implemented fairly recently (look for ChangeLog entries by
Masatake YAMATO <address@hidden>).
[Of course the other possibility is that it was broken recently -- I
haven't updated from CVS in a couple of days... :-]
