Hi Guys,Actually I'm building emacs-22.0.50 from 31.8MB source file downloaded from Internet. I'm new in this and no experience in building a software like emacs. My system is linux mandrake 10.1 and use only Gnome. I don't want to install kde. After "make" command i do "src/emacs -q " and I get an emacs without window. It uses the terminal display not its own window. Just like a text mode but a litle worse. Also when I press F10 to display the menu it appears "f==>File" hit"f" to open the File menu a get this mesage " Symbol's value as variable is void: menu-updating-frame. I check and recheck paths and libraries, etc but no solution yet.
Could you, please help me solving this? Thanks in advance!
