We are currently pretesting the next release of Emacs, which will be 
22.1. It would help us if you could try that rather than using a 
precompiled version from elsewhere which may be built from an arbitrary 
checkout from CVS on an unknown date, and may contain any number of patches.

Also, please try to reproduce the bug starting from "emacs -Q", and 
report any snippets from your .emacs that are required to reproduce the 
bug after you have narrowed down what causes it.
