I checked on a native GNU/Linux x86_64 configuration with a version of
Clang I happened to have installed (7.0.1-6), and it worked. So that
seems to be a reasonable workaround for the time being.
I will push a clean fix so as not to require it, but I have other things
to do right now. If I delay more than, say, a week, please ping me.
