Subject: | [ESPResSo] Cannot find Tcl libraries on Debian based system |
Date: | Thu, 27 Sep 2007 12:18:35 +0100 |
Hello, I am trying to install espresso on my debian based system at work. I have installed tcl-8.4 tcl-8.4-dev tcllib, and I can get tcl working with the command tclsh. However, when I run the espresso ./configure script, it cannot find tcl. This happens at home on Ubuntu and at work wit Kanotix. I am guessing debian distros and keeping the tcl libraries in a place where the configure script is not looking. Tho output of locate libtcl is: /usr/lib/libtcl8.3.so.1 /usr/lib/libtcl8.4.so.0 Please help as I really want to test some hetrogenous nucleation experiments with espresso.
