Hello everybody!

Unlike the last couple of years, there will be no ESPResSo-specific
summer school this year. However, we host a more general summer school on

"Particle-based Simulations for Hard and Soft Matter"

instead, which will take place

  on October 6-10, 2014
at the Institute for Computational Physics,
  University of Stuttgart, Germany

The school consists of lectures and hands-on sessions on various
simulation tools, namely the molecular dynamics codes ESPResSo and IMD,
Pasimodo for rigid object simulations and state of the art visualization
tools. Furthermore, there will be a poster session, where
participants have the opportunity to discuss their projects with the
other participants and the speakers, and a number of scientific talks
where scientists will present recent research projects that were done
with any of the software packages.

The school is generously supported by the research center
"Sonderforschungsbereich 716" of Stuttgart University. All the tools
that are presented are developed in this research center.

If you want to register, or if you are interested in further details,
have a look at the homepage of the school:

Best regards

The organization team of the CECAM Summer School
"Particle-based Simulations for Hard and Soft Matter" 2014
