Albert,
  thank you so much for the quick response, and good information. I tried a 
cold reset, but no change. I am able to interact with the vFlash SD card using 
other utilities, and it seems to be working fine. I will keep digging into the 
problem, and thanks so much for a great piece of software. Freeipmi has been a 
great addition to our toolset for monitoring and managing high performance 
storage.

Hi Peter,

I would take the 'ok' output from ipmitool with a grain of salt.  The
'ok' in ipmitool from 'sdr list' means something different than what the
text output below means.  In some cases, it outputs 'ok' only b/c a
sensor reading was read, the 'ok' is not based on the contents within
the reading.

According to the output below, FreeIPMI is reporting exactly what the
motherboard is saying.  Unless the OEM specific data I have from Dell is
incorrect, there's not too much to be done.  The
freeipmi_interpret_sensor.conf is for the --output-sensor-state option,
so it won't help for this output.

If the hardware is in fact correctly working and operational, there's
likely a bad sensor on the system.  A hard reset might fix the problem.
If that's not possible, a hard reset of the BMC might solve it
(bmc-device --cold-reset).
