Hi David,

I feel awkward to ask this again. I would appreciate if you could share your understanding on the reply I sent related to your feedback on this proposal.

I can understand that portability is a major concern for FreeType. But it’s already being used on advanced operating systems such as linux, android, iOS. Things like immutability can be of great benefit here.
