many thanks!  Some interesting results.  I'm currently fixing:

ODR violations.  Once this is fixed I'll backport these and the previous
https://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=114529 fixes (and all fixes
from 15.0, which apply cleanly).

I'll take a look at gm2/iso/run/pass/packed.mod and Solaris (on the
cfarm (compilerfarm) Solaris 11.4 host) - it would be great to see a
clean regression test on this platform :-)
