Good question.
Different versions: Preferably the newer one as I consider minor
version numbers as bug fixes. But I'd really don't care that much
unless we really know the difference (NaN thing).
Different archs? Two possibilities:
- keep compatible with the arch (ie. Gnash renders differently on
Windows vs. Linux). Might be a problem for archs that are supported
by Gnash only.
- Simply take the Windows version as the one.
What do others (including Flash developers) think about this??
In any case, we should give the *user* the possibility to turn off any
self-limitation (if he wants that, he knows what it means). For this
reason these should be some central mechanism that controls the
limitations.
