I committed in head a patch making the NPAPI (mozilla-compatible)
plugin request gnash to load a ~/.gnashpluginrc config file
when available.
It will be parser *after* the other ones tried in turn
(/etc/gnashrc /usr/local/etc/gnashrc ~/.gnashrc).
Comunication with the standalone uses the GNASHRC environment
variable, which now supports a comma-separated list of files.
The intended use is to have some directives overridden
for the plugin use (like, StartStopped, Sound, Verbosity etc..).
Included in the patch is a workaround to something that looks
like a bug in epiphany, which is multiple calls to a function
documented as theoretically called only once during a session
(plugin initialization time): NS_PluginInitialize.
So, if you could test the new plugin with all the browsers
you're used to that'd be helpful.
TIA
