News from GC debugging :
An empty SWF file (v6) allocates 288 collectable
resources, 21 of which are recycled by first GC run.
Now, figuring why the startup code would allocate 21
temporary objects could be interesting...
To check your movies build with -DGNASH_GC_DEBUG
and run with -vv.
