My only suggestion to this entire GFDL thread is use the SFDL when it
comes out (which removes invariant sections and greatly simplifies the
licensing.)

That would allow us to remain FSF-free and also be eligible to
contribute back to Debian, satisfying both camps.

Now if only the license were released...
