Compatability

Hi,
   I am planning to purchase a new phone soon, and I'd like to hear any
feedback regarding the compatability of the Nokia 3585i with Gnokii.  I
currently use a 3285 with a dlr3p cable, and gnokii doesn't work with
it, but I'd like to get a phone that I can synchronize my phone book,
todo list, and maybe upload ringtones and things like that, in addition
to using it as a modem.  The Alltel store that I visited today was
offering only the 3585i Nokia phone, and several Motorola, Siemens, and
Kyocera phones.  Is the Nokia 3585i currently compatable with Gnokii,
and has anyone here had any success/problems connecting to the phone
with Gnokii?  I would also be interested in hearing of any phones that
do work well with Gnokii, especially those that can be used by Alltel
customers.  Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in
