I see that only part of the patch I sent fixing some encoding problems
in atgen.c has been integrated (see [1]). Is there a problem with the
rest of it?

I tried 0.6.1, and from what I see, Gnokii still can't talk to my T610
correctly in UCS2. The rest of my patch, which I am attaching, fixes
this problem.

I'd therefore be very interested in having it included, and will be
happy to resolve issues you find with it.
