Hello,

I find this in my sys.log:

Nov 30 16:40:43 laptop kernel: ttyS0 at I/O 0x3f8 (irq = 4) is a 16550A
Nov 30 16:40:43 laptop kernel: ttyS1 at I/O 0x2f8 (irq = 3) is a NS16550A

and I tried both ports. But it doesn't work.

How can I check my serial port?

I bought the cable as serial cable for my cell-phone. Its is connected to the
serial port. No idea if it is an DAU? or whatever?

Kind regards

Peter
