Hello all

I am using gnokii-0.6.6 with a 7110 and a DAU9P cable.

I get the errors posted below when running gnokiid. How do I cure this problem?

There have been similar posts in the past but they have not covered this issue as
far as I can see.

I installed gnokii-0.6.6 as follows

 ./configure;make;make install;ldconfig

with /usr/local/lib in /etc/ld.so.conf.

Note that this is a transient error. I have tried this on two machines with the same
cable and phone. On the VIA it worked...

(i) gnokii-0.6.6's gnokiid works fine on an EPIA VIA with on board serial port!

(ii) The problem as pasted below appears on a desktop machine with the following cpu info

Please read the bug details below which indicate a communiocation problem. Right at the very bottom is my .gnokiirc file.

Thanks so much

Gerard

Bug details....

Things to notice:

I have inserted some printfs into cfgreader.c to prove that the DAU9P in .gnokiirc was indeed picked up.
This results in the line "Found DAU9P" below.

I have also put a printf in fbus.c.
       printf("Gerard: Changed speed to 115200 in fbus.c: 1\n");

Should fbus.c be used at all???? Why is it changing the speed to 115200 anyway when I asked for 19200
in the .gnokiirc file??
