RE: can not get gnokii to work

Hi sorry for the late response. The port is only available when the phone is plugged in. I also set the port to 000 permission so that no-one could access the phone and I got the same error. How can I find out what is using the phone? The phone is a nokia 6680. Its classified as a symbian phone.

Some other application is accessing your phone.Atleast the port and connection are right

Sorry that I did'nt mentioned the whole thing.
As you can see when you set port to /dev/ttyACMo , gnokii could detect the device and gets some response.Keep the port as /dev/ttyACMo and then use connection = serial.
The port configuration is right.
