Hi Mayuresh

if you type ./configure --help you will get a number of options including:
  --libdir=DIR
  --includedir=DIR

I think the header files will still need to reference the archive/object files, copying headers might not be the way to go.

Hello,

I have tried to get [Open|GNU]COBOL compiled
under OmniOS (omnios.omniti.com), but somehow
the configure script is unable to find "gmp.h"
at "/usr/include/gmp/". Is there anything I
need to do to make the system know that gmp.h
exists at "/usr/include/gmp/"?

Thanks,

~Mayuresh

You can cheat and copy gmp.h into the directory
where you are compiling OpenCobol.
