And, since it seems you are using Ubuntu Focal you would
either install like described under "Other Systems" or else
use the package from Kinetic:

        https://packages.ubuntu.com/kinetic/i386/gnumed-client

or Impish

        https://packages.ubuntu.com/impish/i386/gnumed-client

(because that's closest to Focal in nature.
