Well, the test suite in that file fell prey to bit-rot :-)  Which I fixed 
tonight and will check in tomorrow so please test again then. I'll let you know.

Yep, sounds like it. A couple of printk()s should do wonders in pinning to 
where things go awry.

Indeed it does. I'm amazed that it works that much, actually. We should be able 
to run on MacOSX soon enough :-)
