[Gnumed-devel] manually-reported bug: Nonsmooth exit from within GNUmed (Mac OS 10.4) |

I noticed in the wx menu code that there exists a menu option to do
with "Close" or "Exit" the client but I cannot see this menu as a user
Python seems to exit cleanly if, from the Python menu, I select
"Quit" or if had encountered the unhandled exception dialog and chose
"Close GNUmed".
However, if I simply click the red "close" button at top left of the
Mac wx client window, the window closes while Python stays loaded.
"So what" you may say. Except when I *then* select "Quit" from the
Python menu --- something that it would have done happily had I not
clicked the "close" box --- Python will ignore the request to quit. I
had to do a forced quit.
Before I forced the quit (and while Python was still loaded in
memory) my shell said the following:
MacBook:/Volumes/MacBookHD_1/Users/djb/Desktop/GNUmed-0.2.8.2/
client djb$ ./gm-from-cvs.sh
Gnumed -> client
gm-from-cvs.log

after I force-quitted, my shell said:
