With reference to the screenshot in the last email, nice to see the splitting of the date (of birth) and time (of birth) functionality.

One of the labels should be changed from First names(s) to
        First name(s)

I understand fields with "red" labels are required. What is the purpose or meaning of the orange that characterizes the postal and other address fields? Is it meant to communicate "suggested but not required"? Is it meant only to visually indicate them as related? Or does it mean "linked" in that a data entry in the first field may cause dynamic alteration to other fields? Presumably intended to be adopted consistently within GNUmed's GUI?

Also is the phone information meant to be free-text separate from the "communication channels"? Or will it simply facilitate the auto-entry of the input into what is actually a channel and the user (or secretary / staff) will later specify the kind of channel (home phone, work phone, mobile) on this entry and any later channels to be added?

Attached find a first screenshot. As you can see this will
allow for entering Patients without a DOB or without a Time
of Birth.
