Hi all,
Here is how you can help test GNUmed.
Install the latest officially released GNUmed to get all the dependencies
right. When that works (including you own local database)
Go and grab:
http://www.gitorious.org/gnumed/gnumed/archive-tarball/master
Unpack it and find in server subdirectory upgrade_db.sh in it. Run it (not on
your production system) like this for a upgarde of the (currently released)
v14 database to (currently unreleased) v15 database.
upgrade_db.sh 14 15
This will set you up with a fresh v15 database for testing.
Then when that worked find in client directory gm-from-vcs.sh and run it.
It will start (without installation) the very latest (the one you downloaded)
code (0.9 to be ).
Connect to your *local* v15 database you just created and report any errors
you see.
Thanks,
Sebastian Hilbert
