I have been thinking (and in fact started some work on)
implementing a standard way to document passing away of a
person. Like when a date of death is set GNUmed would offer
to do the following:

- mark as stopped previously ongoing meds
- offer a soap note for "finalization"
- offer issues to be marked as "contributed to death"
- remove waiting list items
- remove inbox items
- PDFify the entire EMR for (external ?) archival
- ...
